ABOUT
Sean Scanlan is the owner of Brooklyn Wordsmiths. Sean received his PhD in English from the University of Iowa in 2008. He is currently Assistant Professor of English at the New York City College of Technology, the senior technology college of the City University of New York. He specializes in American and world literature and composition studies. Before earning his PhD, Sean worked in advertising in St. Louis, Missouri. And before that, he taught English and business negotiation seminars for three years in Tokyo and Sapporo, Japan.
